I read a news article about how a man and his 6 year old golden retriever were taking a stroll in the park when he let Sam off the leash for just a second, and he jumped into the rough waters of the Merrimack river. The strong current washed him farther and farther down the river while his owner and many others were saying words of encouragement to him and trying to lead him out. After awhile of dog paddling down the rough waters, finally a small portion of land came and that's when a firefighter took action and swept down and grabbed the dog. I really liked watching and reading this video :) the owner was so happy that he got his best friend back and it was just a really cool story to hear about with a happy ending.
