After the devastating tsunami in Japan that left approximately 19,000 people dead just last year, everyone felt all was lost and washed away by the ocean. 16-year-old Misaki Murakami on the other hand, got one prized possession back to him. His soccer ball that he received as a gift with loving notes and signatures on it from when he was switching schools in the 3rd grade washed up on the Alaskan shores just the other day. Along with other belongings that have been washing up around Alaska, Canada, Washington, and Oregon, another survivor of the tsunami also received a volleyball back to her. I think it's pretty cool that a few different people are getting some of their old stuff back after they lost probably everything. I feel that it raises there hopes a little more after they had to experience the awful tsunami that killed so many people.
