Taking Acid can cause you to have "bad trips" and trigger nightmarish experiences and you could end up killing yourself, but it can also help with anxiety and cause less pain. I don't agree with this article that I read, but I do think that it's good that they're experimenting with it. It could help people to rid of their addiction, but to me, it's just replacing alcoholism with another bad substance. Acid has side affects just as well as alcohol does.

Good post. It's kind of scary that something which has been deemed so awful for you can actually have a good component as well. Although, it would be bad if a person switched one addiction for another. I suppose in moderation and very limited use it could provide benefits. If we as a nation are so against legalizing marijuana, how do you think legalizing the medical use of LSD might go over?
